All the folks who work here are REALLY helpful and kind, will help you answer your questions and patient. Recently, I was deep cleaning my car and couldn't figure out how to wash my mats as they were molded but Ashton helped me out, and was very patient with me. Due to Ashton's help, I was able to have a deep cleaned car with washed mats for my incoming road trip and it made the experience so much better! Thank you for your work Ashton!

March 18 - TA3 T3SLANothing wrong with the actual car wash or the customer service at this location. But this company doesn’t give a damn about existing or previous customers. Showed up to get my car washed, they tell me there’s a deal that if you buy their top wash you’ll get free car washes for the rest of the month. Oh wait, if you’ve been a customer before you are not eligible for this deal. So if you’re a new customer great, they want your business. If you’ve been coming to this place and have used the service before they don’t give a damn about you. You don’t care about returning or existing customers, you get a one star review. Do better! 🤬
January 17 - Scott SewellSigned up for a subscription and tried to go through the app lane and it wouldn't let me through so I get behind 3 cars and wait to get to the cashier. When I get there they tell me they can't wash my car because they'll rip my bumper off since it's "falling off". My headlight is hit in lol there's nothing wrong with my bumper so I basically took the time to start a subscription for no reason and be turned away for something that doesn't even make sense . Other car washes do not has an issue with my car.

It’s the first and only wash I’ve used since getting my car ceramic coated and my headlights tinted. I was warned not to use automatic washes—but I took the risk. I regret it.About a week in, I noticed horizontal scratches on the tint of my headlights and fine scratches on the body of my black Tesla. They weren’t there before. I know my car, I care for it, and I know exactly where it’s been. Nothing else could’ve caused this.I called Tommy’s to raise my concerns, and the first thing I was told was, “The brushes are self-cleaning and rated for 100,000 cars.” No empathy. No curiosity. No offer to help. Just a script. I get it—it’s a business, and employees are trained not to admit fault. But what happened to listening? What happened to customer care? If someone calls and says something’s not right, at least act like you care. Businesses that thrive are the ones that take responsibility, learn, and grow—not the ones that hide behind policy.The fact is, their brushes aren’t inspected daily. That matters. Grit and debris get stuck, and over time, that’s how people’s cars get scratched—especially darker vehicles where every mark shows. I’ve talked to others in Lawrence who said the same: “I went once. They scratched my car. Never again.”To make matters worse, my car doesn’t even come out clean. I’ve had to run it through multiple times and it still looks half-done. Meanwhile, Club Car Wash delivers a flawless wash in one go. I don’t work for Club, I don’t get paid to say this—I’m just speaking from experience. Their $12 Tuesday wash? Superior. I’ll be canceling Tommy’s and going there weekly from now on.This isn’t about money. It’s about time, value, and protecting what you own. I’m sharing this to help others avoid the same mistake. Don’t let a “free month” turn into paint damage and a headache. Once a scratch is there, it’s there. And by the time you notice, it’s too late to prove.Tommy’s Express is a big business. But that doesn’t mean they get a free pass. If they’re going to serve our community, they need to own up when things go wrong. No more brush-offs. No more excuses. Lead with empathy.
